Thanks I have a couple really impressive pieces on hold at RR Canada right now for me. Will post when I get them keeping it quiet, but I have only seen one posted here for sale once, and the other one is a new RR Canada Release. Awesome stuff. After these two I plan on holding off on adding any pieces while things encrust, fill out and I get an idea of space issues or decide to move/get rid of a couple of the more basic pieces.

I tried to take some images to show off a bit of the depth of the rock work and coral contrast. IMO one of the biggest challenges yet most effective way to create an aesthetically pleasing reef is to use coral colors to contrast eachother and add depth. Placing complimentary colors behind one another or placing a coral with an accent color next to one with the opposite accent colors etc. can do an insane amount to create a scape with depth, interest points and a pallet of colors for your eyes to travel across. This is almost equally important as a creative or minimalist aquascape.

Thanks. I think they could be better currently working on that. A mix between very low bioload, very high lighting, and super clean water is making it difficult to get very rich deep colors. Adding more Pohl's Xtra and Aminos, seems to add more brown to the tissue.

I think a major difference will be seen when I change the lighting combo a bit and ditch one or both of the Coral+ to reduce the white color and knock down PAR a bit.

Thanks guys. Yea I have not updated the lighting in first post. Due to my LFS being low on 24" ATI's I had to compromise when I replaced the bulbs a couple months ago.

I am currently rocking 5 Blue+, 2 Coral + and 1 Purple +

Front to Back

Blue +

I think the above is way too white/pink for my liking.

Strongly Considering swapping to this

Thoughts?
