The past few weeks this has really taken over.

Hard too tell from the pics , can you blow it of with a Turkey baister..is it the brown I can see in the pics ...can you give more info over your tank ..

I will test my water tonight and get back to you, yes I am pretty sure you can blow it with a turkey baister

It could be diatoms ...or it could be dinoflagetes..my advice take a sample too lfs with a microscope and get a positive ID ...unless you have one yourself ..then you can take a photo with your phone through the eyepiece and post here for an ID

Has anything else in your tank changed? Did the algae show up all of the sudden?

Not really I beefed up my CUC, seems to be helping
