Ok, I desperately need some help. Over the last part of the summer I had a cyanno outbreak. I obviously had some flow and nutrient issues. I was able to get rid of the cyanno by changing out my power heads and a little chemiclean. Now I have other algae issues that O am trying to resolve. I am attaching a couple of photos from my tank. Could I get an ID on the algae and some suggestions on getting rid of it? My tank is a FOWLR. I have recently replaced my protein skimmer and the filters on my RO/DI system.
My latest water parameters are
pH 8.2
salinity 1.025
Temp 76
Ammonia 0.0
Nitrite 0.0
Nitrate 0.0
Phosphate 0.0
Calcium 395
Alkalinity 7.7 dKH
Magnesium 1220
My testing is done with Red Sea kits except for phosphate. It is tested with API. Just got a Hannah ULR phosphate checker, but haven’t tried it yet.
Any thoughts and suggestions are appreciated!
