Algae ID Help

Was hoping someone could confirm this algae for me and if I need to do a black out. Or is this just the ugly phase. did the BRS 4 month and started in December. Added 1st fish April 28th, second batch 5/7. This took off about 4 days ago.

I know. I’m hoping someone could help me. None of my fish are interested in picking at it. When the lights are off it’s a dark brown. Almost looks like slime.

Not sure. This is my 2nd tank and never got brown algae in my first tank so not sure. I also think if it was algae my purple tangs or other fish I have would go after it

I am just over 1 day on a 2 day blackout for cyanobacteria. Im amazed at how much it has decreased with just a little bit of darkness

I did a 30 gal water change for my 100 and last night went to full blackout. Going to keep it maybe till Friday. I also ordered some dino-x from BRS to see.

I tried that last night at it didn't really work. I'm trying a full black out. Nice thing is I don't have any corals yet in the new system so can try some medications to add to the tank
