Tanks been running a while now like 3 years. 8 months with sandbed.

Went fallow and turned the lights off for about 4 of those while I figured out what I was doing with tank. Kept it fed through the duration.

Added clowns one and only about a month ago.

Not concerned about the diatoms on rocks. Just the sand bed. I'm think it's just GHA nitrate 5.8 phos 0.05 phosphate did get up to 5.2 at one point via ULR Hanna.

Running a pentair UV 25

Anyone feel like making me feel better. Aggressive removal or let it run through a mini cycle and it will pass.

Did you ever hit zero on your nitrates or phosphate and your rock is 3 1/2 years old ?

I did and yes. However the original NSA scape. Was dismantled, dried and recycled for about 4 months prior to adding back.

Do you think it’s possible the lights and excess nutrients have kicked something up?
