Hi, do you know the type of algae and how to deal with it?

Looks like a chrytophtye or hair algae. How bad is it in the tank. Can you get that rock out to scrub and use some peroxide?

Its everywhere, but this spot is the worst. It goes away sometimes then comes back within days.

Yea if it responds like Gha to fluconazole it would be worth a try. I am just finishing mine. Bryopsis was gone in six days in both tanks. Gha is getting mushy now. Day 14.
I would even venture to say a follow up dose would be in order to kill more. Scrubbing the alge really helps too.

So I scrubbed as much as possible off with a brush and hydrogen peroxide. My water no3 and po4 measured 0. I started dosing kno3 slowly. It seems to help. I also took GFO and carbon out. Fresh test kits should come in a day or two. Well, will see.

Kits came in. Po4 was .02ppm and 10-25 ppm no3. I will not dose kno3 for another day or two.
The rock is clean, but the stuff on the wall just got a little smaller. To be continued...
