Hello - can anyone id, is it bryopsis? How to control or get rid?
I am using ro/di and ligthing is Kessil 360w for 8 hrs.

Do the stalks look like mini ferns? It looks like green turf algae to me but i cant see enough detail to be certian

If you can get a better shot that would be nice. but sorta looks like turf to me too. What are your params at?

If it is Turf, can I do peroxide or some CUC will eat this? I will try to get a closer pics.

I would test your po4 and no3.

A clean up if these are off will just lead to it returning imo.

Turbo snails would be my first attempt at cuc. 1 per 20 gallons of water, less is also ok :)

From the picture it is near impossible to tell what type it is.
No matter what it is you have many ways to manage it.
Remove it by hand is the first step. Suck it out while scrubing it with a tooth brush.
Next find a clean up critter or critters that will eat it. Most will not touch it when its long, but once it has been cut down by you they will go for the young tender shoots. Snails that like rocks. An urchin. Crabs are some of your choices.
This should get you started. If the problem persists, then we will figure out why it is your main consumer of nutrients and not something else.

It is hard to just remove by hand. I will have to remove this rock and give it a good scrub with a wire brush.
Then I will get couple Emerald crabs and a Two Spot Blenny.

I do have a reactor that I have been planning to get it going with Macro Algae.

So not currently using correct? Just asking because sometimes macro can get into the dt and look bad like calepura. Also, what are your water parameters?

Yes, not in use. My suspect is my Phosphate but I will have to double check on that. Nitrate at 10.
