Over the last month I have really been struggling with algae and hopefully it is just new tank stages. My tank is about 7 months old and I have been getting a lot of dark purple and green algae on my rock and now a lot of lighter green in my sand. I have tested and use RO/DI water. I have tried turning my lights down and nothing seems to help.

I have never shown any nitrates and I picked up a Ph test kit last week and that is showing 0 also.

I also just picked up 2 gyre 250 so I don't think flow is an issue.

Any ideas?
