Algae on snails

How can I remove algae of my trochus snails?
The green algae won’t pull off it’s hardened onto the shell and I can’t get it off with a brush

Not too much other than hope smaller snails like maybe a Nassarius Snail will hitch a ride and do some work.

idk, leave it. put two snails in a little breeder box inside the tank, with no other food, and they'll clean each other:cool:. Is it a hairy kind of algae or no?

When I was battling GHA(still kind am but mostly under control now ;Happy) I sprayed a little hydrogen peroxide onto a brush, took the snail out and scrubbed it's shell with its flesh facing up so the solution wouldn't drip down inside the shell. Took special care not to get any on the little guys. Dipped the shell in RO/DI water and then put them back in the tank. It definitely helped.

Obviously my main problem was the cause of the hair algae (spoiler alert my nutrient input was much higher than my export capabilities)
