Hi everybody id like to start thread on algae reactors. Everybody welcome to post there finds, diy project, conversions and so on.
today i set up my algae reactor which i bought from ebay, its made by cleartides.
this is there smallest unit, i thinking upgrading standard light to hydroponics
i will run on opposite light cycle and will post results as soon as

Question, in the first pic, is the lid just not tightened properly or is it warped?

i have 360/100, im in uk myself so i didnt have any problems with shipment.

Firs harvest, more like rinse and clean. Had some flow problems as i was using filter floss to stop detritus, now its out and i have 2 mesh discs instead, both was supplied with unit.
despite some flow problems i got good grow went double in size, after quick clean and rinse algae back in reactor

2 weeks in, good growth, noticed that algae in display tank is not as strong and it's easier to remove

Week 3. 50gal tank.
I think I'll have to harvest next week or take skimmer out, maybe cutdown lights to 8-10hrs

Can you explain how water flows in and out also are you using the pump included? Did you slow water flow down?
