I am month 4 from setting up.
Started with new sand and 1/2 new dry rock
Other rock was from my previous build and was just in a brute with circulating water.
This algae just started to show up.
Cleaner crew consist of about:
10 hermits
3 fighting conch
6 nerite snails
AWC 2 gallon a day

No resolution needed for a 4 month old tank imo. Things are looking good.

Thank you I appreciate the feedback. I am currently QT’ing a couple of trochus snails and I didn’t want things to get out of hand before it’s too late.

You're welcome.
Unless you're seeing long hairy patches, then you don't need to worry.
Those older pieces of LR look really nice with the coraline on them. I've read you could brush them a bit to keep them algae free which will also release some spores in the tank to help populate other areas. If it's true or not, idk.. but it can't hurt. I always hit my coraline with a toothbrush while doing maintenance.

Looks to be cyano and green surface algae. Reduce white intensity for 5 days or turn off whites, 3-5 days. Add astrea snails, turbo snails, strawberry conchs and a pencil urchin

Imo normal for 4 mth, weekly water change, turkey base rock, gravel vac sand, keep a check on nitrate & phosphate.
I started a new tank last Dec went through the same stage, by mth 6 was clear, no magic band aid potions needed
