until there is a work around it seems that cheap knockoff gravy train is closed. Well till China finds a work around and they likely will.

Yeah, sadly I think all this stuff is no longer available as a cheap alternative. At least for now. Glad I got my stuff when I did, hope this idiocracy gets sorted out.

I have an opportunity to get 6 Radion XR30 pro Gen 4s for 225 each. What do you think of that?

Just will need to find 4 more for the 10x3x3 footprint.

Gen 4's are considered the best by many. 6 would do a solid job over 10 ft. I just wouldn't pay to much since they are older. Ideally $250 each is a good price.

Do I need special lenses? Or would I be able to growth 90 percent of corals with them?

You can grow anything with them. But, bottom 12 inches might only give you 100 par or so. So no high light corals on the bottom.

What height off the water you think? I also have 5 Kessil 360x I was going to run down the middle of the tank

Are there anyone having issues updating their app? Every time I open my app it says theres a new version available for download. I click on download, it gives me a progress bar, then it disappears. Check my app's version and its still stuck at 2.1.1. The latest version is 2.3.5 and I cant seem to download it.

update on the shipping of my lights. The seller YZY Aquarium Store on aliexpress offered to pay for half of the $129 that ups has billed me for. He claims he has shipped the other two lights in a way as to avoid the tariff fees and I should not worry. If that is indeed true I will post for others to purchase from them.
I have been very impressed with the lights so far. Ive been running them for 2 weeks now and the only issue Ive has was one of the three lost it time and I had to reset it. I added in 40% white to the ab+ schedule and am loving the color.

Any updates on your other 2 lights? I’m currently in the same boat with YZY.. ordered 3x A8SE II blues on 4/22 - they marked it “shipped” on 4/25 and added a bogus UPS tracking number. I’ve messaged them a few times and they have assured me that I will not have to pay any additional tariffs/fees. There’s no updates in tracking since 4/25, I asked again about the 5/2 deadline being missed and was told not to worry and that my shipment will go out in 7-15 days from the order date and I won’t have to pay any more.

Are you sure it was meant to be an ups number? When mine came it only had a Chinese tracking number I couldn’t follow and then after it got to the states it just said it had been handed off to a domestic carrier until it was dropped off.

I’m not sure of anything with this order lol.. it says UPS is the carrier and it’s the standard tracking number starting with “1Z” but the second half is all O’s and UPS doesn’t recognize it. When I asked about that they responded with:

I have not received the two lights. At this point I am holding my breath on it. I did receive the light I paid the $129 tariff on yesterday and my ups guy told me if it comes ups and there is a tariff charge on it and your not willing to pay just refuse delivery and they will send it back.
I would worry about that too. Would it ever make it back and if it did would the seller even admit he received it and give you your credit. I would say right now we are in a holding pattern.

Refusing a package gets it sent back minus any insurance.
The package " got there" which ends any coverage.

There is a security (can’t recall the actual term) to allow non google play store apps to be installed. Try to allow AIPAI apps this security feature. Hope it helps!
