AliExpress A8SE Reef Light

I've heard of people messaging sellers to get around minimum purchase limits, so I imagine you could do the same for maximum limits. I'm not sure who imposes the limits, Ali, or the seller, but sellers seem to be very willing to deal with customer needs from what I've heard. It's strange that the listing shows a 1% discount for 2+ items, but then limits you to 2.

Most will do this with lights or pumps. The sellers set the minimum. I'm tempted to order the new mp60 clone. I think it is around $150 shipped through Alibaba.

Thanks. I ordered two to play around with. I'm thinking of swapping out my Reefis to these lights. Don't have an issue with Reefis - in fact they are awesome lights, and probably of higher quality than the A8SE. My problem is I can't get over the Radion AB+ look. I haven't been able to replicate it with the Reefis, and I think that Radion spectrium looks better than anything out there.

I've read mixed things on this - but can anyone speak to how well these lights replicate the Radion AB+ spectrum *visually* ?

I'm thinking about replacing my Reefi's too. I've got the 1st gen ones, and I don't think they grow SPS very well. I can't decide between the X30 (quality) or A8SE (price).

I've got a DMP-40M, I really like it. I'm going to buy 3 more for my 180 and a couple DMP-20M's for my 90.

I say buy a8 SE with meanwell power supply. You can get as blue as you need but not Smurf reef like too many people do.

Breeze Aqua on AliExpress IS out of stock. It may still let you order, but I ordered two Pro Max on the 17th of February, I had a conflicting message on the 24th saying it had been shipped but also that the order was delayed. Messaged them today to find out mine have not been sent yet, and there is a supply issue at manufacturer.

There's no dedicated moonlight function, but you could easily program the cool white channel (or any other channel) to stay on at 1% or more at night.

Also, has anyone purchased shades or diffusers? What I am primarily concerned about is glare and light spillage. The product description advertises 125 degree spread. I would prefer a narrow 90 degree or 95 degree. Still okay with the 125 degree due to the pricing.

I have the radion diffuser on mine. Fits just fine and magnets all line up.
The narrow lens kit from radion is also a direct fit.
I bought the tank mount and decided to hang it after I got it because with my small tank it felt like a lot of weight for the glass. Plus I also added my blades to it with the radion blade mount

yea pretty much all the radion accessories fit right on it. I mainly got the diffuser cause of glare.
Blades are not hooked up yet. Waiting on my upgrade tank then they will be put to use.

Hey, I ordered two and they're on the way! :) Since I'm upgrading to a larger aquarium, I'll need to hang the lights. Does anyone have their own way of mounting aquarium lights (DIY)? I was thinking about using V-slot aluminum extrusion profiles :)
