mine runs at 61dc already and temp reaches 67-68

Noisy fan and 67c⁰ ?

Here, fan almost silent and "if all chanel" at 99% i never reach the 50c⁰.
No thermal paste
18 months old, A8's cree and MN.

When they turn on today, I can do the test and see.
- red,green, white at 50% and others at 95%.

the temperature climbed then dropped slightly to stabilize between 47.7 and 47.2c⁰.

I guess the added channels has to play a role cause this is the new one and it has 8 channels and also the temp around here is like 24-25C. All 3 lights of mine show same temp too like 62-65C

ambient temp could be adding to light temp. My game room where my tank is around 69f thats just a hair more than 20c

Same number of led in each model but
New model are rated at 240W
Old model are rated at 215W
That could be part of the reason

So theres a problem with the 3rd light that just arrived. it grounds. so at first i noticed the light started like blinking so i assumed it was the power supply and after switching it with the power supply that u have it still has a ground especially when touching the screws of the lens. I wonder if its still okay to run the lights even when it still grounds or its not worth the risk? i already messaged the seller hopefully they would send another one since it has not reached the 7 days mark

My A8SE just arrived - had no issues getting them set up and connected and everything seems to work just fine EXCEPT I am having the time zone sync issue - the update never sticks and it reverts to Chinese time zone every single time. Anyone have any luck fixing this?

You have to set the time zone in your account. Go to the middle icon at the bottom called "My," and set your time zone there. Then it should update to the proper time when linking. You may need to tap "Save device" as well to actually save the time after updating.
