6.9 is way too low, up your frequency
Eav 2 partWhat are you dosing?
My salt seems to mix around 8.8 so i was hoping to be in the 8ish range. Using fritz rpmI recommend 7-11 dKH so 6.9 is barely low, in my opinion.
What values do you recommend?

Does this seem like an appropriate dosing schedule? 62 gal aioThere’s nothing wrong with upping it to 8 dKH. I’d raise it over several days using baking soda. Then track it going forward and maybe pick some sort of balanced alk and calcium system,

alkalinity advice has been provided, but I’ll mention you should keep an eye on calcium. I am not sure how much of the apparent +40 ppm is test error, but if that were real it would be a big change over a short period of time. Neither measured value is a concern, but I’d suggest you watch the trend and adjust calcium dose if needed.
I don’t know concentrations but that seems like a lot of Magnesium? I dose a little Mg every couple of weeks. Suggest you dose 1 or 2 ppm Mg for every 20ppm calcium dosed per Randy’s RMM (method).Does this seem like an appropriate dosing schedule? 62 gal aio
My alk dropped again today...6.9 to 6.6 using a hanna checker. Same method. What's going onThe low magnesium is at least partly because of the low salinity, at sg = 1.025, and water changes may keep dragging it down.
Raising it to 35 ppt (sg = 1.0264) would boost magnesium from 1250 to 1320 ppm.
It also did not drop from 1270 ppm to 1200 ppm in 2 days. That is test error or a substantial salinity drop.

Yes. 62 gal been dosing 20ml a day esv 2 partDid you dose yet? Seems normal to me. Most tanks dose every day.

No signs. I planned to test tomorrow, do a water change, test then again in 24hours afterI’d up the dose unless you see signs of precipitation such as hardened sand.
I've got mine at a stable 9. I actually agree with you though, 6.9 isn't "way too low".I recommend 7-11 dKH so 6.9 is barely low, in my opinion.
