Rereading it again, it seems like stay the course and ruin the seed crystals with mag and phosphates is the way to go. Not sure how or why I didn’t remember those details on my initial reading lol.

Bump it up with Baking Soda. Ca and Mg are probably fine,

Test from yesterday shows 7.8 so it looks like things are settling down. Thinking a tester coral or two are going in the tank in a couple of weeks!
