When I do not know if there is enough reagent, I have just been tossing the rest of the bottle. This seems like such a waste.

Can we pour whatever is left into the next bottle, or would that "flub" something up?

I don't see how it would, but maybe I am wrong

All reagents have an expiration.
Depending on how often you test, you could probably get away with it, but if you are like me... You probably end buying a new bottle because the old one expired.....

Funny I came across this. I have a old bottle of reagent with a couple of leftover bottles added to it. I do currently get the same readings, but some of the reagents are well over expiration. I've been using it to test my fresh saltwater.

I test once or twice a day with the ppm alk checker. Always on the last test of a given reagent bottle, I get a partial draw of reagent. I just squirt that partial draw into the new reagent bottle and then draw out a full 1ml. Been doing this for almost 2 years, so somewhere close to 20 bottles with no issue. Probably saved myself half of a bottle worth over the two years by doing this.
