Are there any guides on how to calibrate the ph values(using ph7/10 solution) via the web interface on the Gen4? I read that you don't do it via the unit itself anyore?
Also is anyone able to please let me know the address of the web interface as often when I connect directly to the units wifi I'm not taken to the captive portal automaticlly.
Ph calibration can only be doe through the machine.
Ph calibration is not required for the machine to measure Kh accurately. Aquawiz works on relative Ph and absolute Ph is not needed. There are two ways to calibrate
1) Calibration Method 1
1. Please prepare three cups, filled with pH 7 solution, pH 10 solution, and purified water respectively.
2. Place the pH probe outside the machine.
3. On the main screen of the machine, select “Other”, press the confirm button once, then select “Yes”.
When you see the calibration screen, press the confirm button once.
4. Place the pH probe into the 7.0 calibration solution.
You’ll see the number on the right constantly changing. At first, it will change quickly. We need to wait until it slows down — about the speed of a ticking clock.
Then press the confirm button once. You should see “OK” appear on the right, indicating that the pH 7 calibration is complete.
5. Press the left or right button once — the same screen will now switch to the pH 10 calibration mode.
First, place the pH probe into the purified water and soak it for 2 seconds. Take it out and gently shake off the excess.
Then place the probe into the pH 10 solution.
Again, wait until the number on the right slows down to a steady pace. Press the confirm button once — when “OK” appears, it means the calibration is complete.
Finally, return to the main screen.
2) Calibration Method 2
Regarding the pH measurement, we have upgraded the system, which allows for calibration using the absolute value. On your phone, connect to the device's Wi-Fi signal source, and a device settings page will pop up. If he scrolls downl, you will see the 'Absolute pH Calibration' option. Please manually test the pH once, and then compare it with the machine's pH reading for that specific hour. For example: if the manual test result is pH 8.2, and the machine's reading for that hour is pH 8.0, you only need to input +0.2 in the option. This is a new feature. Let me known if you don't find it on the screen. You may need software update
