I know I'm a few days late, but I thought you guys might find this interesting. I did pick up the GHL Alkalinity standard with a stated consistancy of 7.5dkh +or- 0.2dkh.

Copying this from my build thread.....

"The first thing I tested was the 7.5dkh Alkalinity standard. A good reading would be considered 7.3 to 7.7.

KH Director: 7.5
Hanna Checker: 7.7
Salifert: 7.7
Redsea, New: 7.3
Redsea, Old: 5.9

And, on my tank I got the following results.

KH Director: 8.2
Hanna Checker: 8.3
Salifert: 8.3
Redsea, New: 7.8"

Just following up, finally got the GHL standard today. Needless to say I’m back to having some faith in my Hanna dKH checker.

Results where as follows:

Hanna: 7.4, 7.5, 7.6, 7.5, 7.5
Red Sea 5ml - Between 8-9dKH
Salifert (Year Old): Between 8.8-9.3dKH
