I know I'm a few days late, but I thought you guys might find this interesting. I did pick up the GHL Alkalinity standard with a stated consistancy of 7.5dkh +or- 0.2dkh.

Copying this from my build thread.....

"The first thing I tested was the 7.5dkh Alkalinity standard. A good reading would be considered 7.3 to 7.7.

KH Director: 7.5
Hanna Checker: 7.7
Salifert: 7.7
Redsea, New: 7.3
Redsea, Old: 5.9

And, on my tank I got the following results.

KH Director: 8.2
Hanna Checker: 8.3
Salifert: 8.3
Redsea, New: 7.8"

I ordered this from Keith at reefbum like 2 weeks ago or whenever my last post was, still hasn't shipped....

Looking forward to getting my hand on it! thank you for posting your results!

Just following up, finally got the GHL standard today. Needless to say I’m back to having some faith in my Hanna dKH checker.

Results where as follows:

Hanna: 7.4, 7.5, 7.6, 7.5, 7.5
Red Sea 5ml - Between 8-9dKH
Salifert (Year Old): Between 8.8-9.3dKH
