Hi all, It's my first post on this forum!

I couldn't find the answer after looking around the forum for a while.

I was looking into starting dosing AFR to maintain my alk and calcium but the instructions say to dose until you achieve 9dkh. I'm using the red sea coral pro salt which gets me around 11.5dkh. Can I still use AFR to maintain 11.5/12 dkh or will the mix not quite work for me?

My tank has 3 sps, 6 Lps and a few softies in the Reefer 250

The AFR will help maintain whatever values you start with as Ca and alkalinity. It is not great for raising alkalinity, much better at maintaining it. It will do a good job to both maintain and raise Ca level.

Thanks! I've never dosed a tank before so I'm just trying to get to grips with it all.
