I have a open top and a skimmer all night with alot of water agitation on the top and in the filter

And the photo period it 12 pm to 12 am 5 hour peak

There’s copper in the coating ?
Will carbon remove it?
Wouldn’t my snails have chocked?

No idea… but the connections are normally nickel plated copper. That just sounds all bad! Lucky you didn’t stick your hand in the tank as it would lit you up! Back to the original topic I can’t say anything will get you within .1 of a alk swing daily so good luck with that lol..

I don’t quite believe it but só far I’ve lost nothing , some sps have Bleached só there was zoox clouding the water but today it’s clear , skimmers full
Got a couple of sofrida refusing to open but other than that it just needs a bit of time to colour back up
