Another member here at R2R was recently complaining that, specifically, their Anthias were being mistaken for goldfish fish :confused-face:

I/we don't get a lot of visitors, but I think right up there for me would be, "doesn't it smell??".

My in-laws came over shortly after I put my ribbon eel in my reef. They once enjoyed looking at the reef.

Mom in law sat down. Got all cozy... out of the tunnel slithers my ribbon eel. She screamed and jumped out of her seat, my dad in law screamed "there's a snake in your tank!!!"

It was head rolling hysterical.

Other than the obvious... "nice decor you got. .. what? Those are real? Real what?"

To me its cringe... but oh well. Its ok.

After showing somebody the pneumatic system to open the canopy( which consist of pressure regulator, about 7 valves, Reed switches, relays, and a touch pad that allows you to touch anywhere on the front panel to open/ close it and it knows where it is and acts accordingly), my brother looked me dead in the eye and asked, " how high were you when you did that? " :face-with-rolling-eyes:
