If I had a dollar for every time someone asked me this question….

So do you have a company that comes and maintains it for you?

Me thinking in my head “what just because I’m a girl and only 5’ tall you think I can’t do his myself!!

I recommend putting two or more into your 65 together to spread aggression. 👍

My parents only like my emerald crab but nothing else. They always look in the tank and say "Where is the crab?" They then proceed to look for it for about 10 minutes and then they take a 2 second glance at everything else.

“oh wow, yeah that’s neat. (long pause) Another bedroom would have been better for the resale value though”

A new one from my 14 year old daughter. She had 4 other 7th/8th grade girls stay the night yesterday. One of the guests was drawn to the aquarium and sat down to look at it ... .

My daughter... said ..

"Becareful my dad will give you a lecture about it if you sit there"

Betrayed by my own!

How much did this cost, how much did that cost? They were trying to cause trouble. Also they wanted to “borrow $10K” which wasn’t going to happen.
Unfortunately, I've experienced this as-well.

My kids when they were little loved the little asterina starfish and would point them out to their friends who would oow and aw. Little did they know after they left the room I would grab the ones I could reach and toss them.

There are several thousand types of Asterina, that have their own feeding habits. As long as they aren’t bothering the Corals, I leave them alone. Mine eat Green Algae off of the glass.

Ya, that was a couple decades ago, not a lot of info back then and the consensus then was to remove them. I don’t touch the ones in my tank now in fact I can see one on the top of my glass right now.

Your last tank was filled with that flowy grass coral (gsp), it was beautiful!

Me - Um, thank you

Your new tank would look much better if you covered your rocks in it again

Me - um, thank you. I know it’s missing something. I’ve tried to get some but it’s very expensive and hard to come across

Mine also, they just move where the algae is forming en masse. They are good little starfish.

The amount of times people called my anemone a coral was funny to me, and I would always have to explain to them it is not a coral but an invert
