So I wish I would’ve posted this earlier this week but truth be told I’m a last minute guy.

Today is the Greater Iowa Reef Society’s (GIRS) fall fest and it’s in my home town for the first time in like 5 years.

Anyways, I limited myself to $50. Now your either thinking “GOOD LUCK!” or “you could get a few frags”.

Here’s the thing, so I buy what I like not what’s “hot” but I love tenius acros and Euphyllias. Let’s face it, both which can come with HEFTY price tags-especially Indo anything. I’m hoping I get lucky but I’m a realist and I might have to fork out some extra cash or walk out empty handed.

Okay everyone, so I scored a Tenuis Acro that was listed for $100 for $50. The vendor wasn’t selling much and surprisingly he was the only one that had Tenuis Acros there that I saw anyways. Maybe the others sold them already??

There were a few vendors that had some not so typical eupyllias (purple and/or green) but those price tags were out of my reach as I wanted to be dedicated to my “budget”. Only one person had Indo torches but I didn’t ask what their prices were.

Without further ado I got this decent size frag. The vendor said it’s got some pink and green in it with blue polyps. We’ll see once it colors up what colors it actually has.

Now I don’t own a fancy schmancy camera and I wouldn’t use it for anything else other than corals and I don’t make a living with corals or have a YouTube channel so there’s no point in me having one imo so you’ll have to suffer through iPhone pics with a orange gel filter.
