If you take the rock out of the water to remove the palys please wear eye protection :)

Palys for sure.

One easy way to tell the difference. touch it, aptasia will be sticky and as soon as you touch it it will shrink up and the stem will shorten to the base.

Palys will be non sticky and they will just close up BUT STEM WILL NOT SHRINK.

Manual removal of the clustered stalks and then a thin layer of superglue on any remaining tissue or rock pores.
What I love about superglue is the fact that in a month you will never see it as coraline readily accepts it for a base.
Caution needs to be put in place as the palytoxin is no joke.

Prolly should use a glove when i move them? I wont be messing with them though now that its not what i was concerned it was. Thanks for helping me out guys

I use gloves, eye protection and wear long sleeve shirts when handling palys out of the water.
I use just gloves while working with them in the water.

Thanks for the tip i never really paid much attention with them. Ihad never had a problem with anenomes. Carpets even never affected me but i see now palys have a whole different set of dangers
