That's an interesting thought, maybe some cross zooxanthellae algae exchange? Almost impossible to know without doing a control test. I volunteer my green gig for an experiment. If you send me a red, blue haddoni and maybe a purple gig I'll put them right beside my green gig and we can see what happens lol. But seriously, that a beautiful gig. @galactic_coral do you have any more gigs in?I've been wondering if this is the result of keeping a rainbow hadoni in the same basket as this green gig.
That’s an interesting theory for sure. I’ve seen multi colored Gigantea, but never like this one.I've been wondering if this is the result of keeping a rainbow hadoni in the same basket as this green gig.
It’s sitting on my sand bed. I’m not sure exact numbers but if I had to guess I’d say 275-300 par. I’m moving it into a bigger system in a few months and it will have much more space and more light.Wow, he's put on some size in a very short time frame. He's going to be huge within a year. Do you know how much par is he getting?
Yes, I feel very lucky to have come across this oneRed Gigantea is a Unicorn of anemones. You have a 1/2 unicorn anemone.
Looking nice! Very similar in size to mineHere is mine today. Just ate a piece of my tuna Sushi.
I think the lighting is different. I have mine under white light while yours is under bluish light. I wonder how different our anemones are under the same light.Looking nice! Very similar in size to mine
These are my other amazing Gigantea
