Wow, he's put on some size in a very short time frame. He's going to be huge within a year. Do you know how much par is he getting?

I've been wondering if this is the result of keeping a rainbow hadoni in the same basket as this green gig.
That's an interesting thought, maybe some cross zooxanthellae algae exchange? Almost impossible to know without doing a control test. I volunteer my green gig for an experiment. If you send me a red, blue haddoni and maybe a purple gig I'll put them right beside my green gig and we can see what happens lol. But seriously, that a beautiful gig. @galactic_coral do you have any more gigs in?

It’s sitting on my sand bed. I’m not sure exact numbers but if I had to guess I’d say 275-300 par. I’m moving it into a bigger system in a few months and it will have much more space and more light.

Looking nice! Very similar in size to mine
I think the lighting is different. I have mine under white light while yours is under bluish light. I wonder how different our anemones are under the same light.
I got to get a CBB in that tank to take care of the aptasia pests.

Could be the lighting that helps to bring out some of the coloration. This is in my DT which is lit for SPS. My T5 fixture is primarily white light, but I have a few blue bulbs and some Reefbrite XHOs that put out some intense blue light

This is the nem under just the T5s, how I would see it with my own eyes
