I'm having a problem with blues and purples fading out in my frag tank. Starting to think about dosing Amino Acids. Who has tried that? Can you point me to a good one?

Thanx

currently i'm using the warner marine brand of aminos and all seems to be well. you might have you're potassium level checked as well.

Thanx folks, I've ordered:

Warner Marine Research Ultimate Aminos
Warner Marine Research Balanced Ion Potassium Supplement
Warner Marine Research ReefPure Lugol`s PLUS Iodine Solution

I plan to try them one at a time and see how that works.

I think the potassium will help the most. The AA should help in you frag tank if your still having problem with light colors

Warner marine is very good and you could dose with potassium to blue up the coral but make sure you test

Harry, I use Brightwells with good results but It's exspensive and alternate Is Seachem Reef Plus By the 1/2 gal It's reasonable. I've had good results with both so IMO It's a price point IMO. Nice seeing you yesterday, Sorry It was a $$ flop but you were not alone all were way down In their $$ too

how do you all monitor K levels?

Zeo potassium test kit they have a new batch and its working great

Harry get a test kit if your going to dose potassium you dont whant to over dose this it will affect corals very bad
if your blue are looking pale it could be your problem

I would suggest you use concentrated aminos like Brightwell Coral Aminos or Zeo Amino Acids. Stay away from the diluted stuff. All other suggestions with potassium and lugols are good, just be sure you don't overdose.
