I have 3 fish I'm getting ready to qt for ick (treating with cupramine) and I don't have any seeded media to add to the qt to control ammonia. So I'm trying to estimate about how often I will need to do water changes. I have a Seachem ammonia alert but I don't want any surprises. Does anyone that has Qt'ed fish have a suggested water change interval to stay one step ahead of the ammonia? Fish I'm QTing 1.75" Mollie, 1.75-2" coral beauty, and a 1.5" goby in a 10 gal tank with 8.5 gallons of water
