Ok what do you do with them? Do they just take over?.
If your looking to keep a mandarin then yes, the more amphipods the more baby's they produce (given the right conditions) = the more food for mandarin.
These guys may look ugly/cockroach insect like but they will help towards mandarin diet

If there is no competiton in the tank, Yes. They will also eat certain corals if the are hungry.
With a large popultion of bristle worms, pods and large CUC crew they usually won't be a problem, just don't let the population get out of control.
