A couple progression shots. Corals are growing great. Id have to say after running skimmer less after a while corals look very vibrant and healthy. Great growth. I believe running a system this way is more stable and allows available nutrients around the clock. IMO. Beach Bum going wild!

Envious of your precious tanks. I'm sure this one holds the same weight.

Continue to make amazing reefs I appreciate it man.

Lol.
Thanks for the kind words. New tank should be up soon. The little holding tank is definitely doing it's job.

Thanks Jackie! Yea I wanted a different look in the coral room so a tin look really makes it eccentric.

My new cut frag of Tyree Red should start seeing a fat green rim forming...........hopefully..LOL So I have two red watermelons. One is very similar to the Rotten Watermelon..totally different than the Red. The pink/red pigmentation is les concentrated but in a desirable way. The Red for me hands down is the bomb. Though the Bazooka Joe has always been a favorite too.

Love it!

Yeah I miss those ceiling tiles. Very nice touch Andy! I grew up in NJ and you would see it in many old colonial, Victorian and Greek homes. You don't see too many here in Fl.

Here in Richmond they're trying to preserve the original molding and tin ceilings in the fan and down town areas. Cool look.

Today in Virginia was a rainy fourth of July so thought it was a good time to start on the stand for the 45 gallon being that all the out door parties were canceled. We got the Kreg tool out to pop some pilot holes to fasten the stand together. Also you can see Im elevating the bottom of the stand so the sump will be far enough off the floor for me to gravity syphon out the sump.
