Anemone Not Eating

I've tried to feed this long tentacle anemone basically every week. It's been 4 weeks now. Never seen him eat... anyone have suggestions? I try to feed him shrimp. I defrost it in RODI water for some time then use chop sticks to set it on his tentacles. Then seems like he doesn't react much more than with one or two tentacles. Eventually it will float away. This is my first anemone but I was expecting him to close up more or something... at least move the food towards his mouth.

Any ideas?

It's my understanding that they don't have to eat. They are like corals, they will eat, but light is their food too.

Anemones don't really require extra food because they are photosynthetic although extra food can keep them healthier, but they can be picky as to what they eat too....

cool! That's all I needed to know then :) I can try other foods later. Main thing is I wanted to make sure I didn't have to give this thing away.
