Hello guys. Im new here.
This is my 1st thread down here when i start cycling with live coral almost 3 weeks ago.
Thread 'Cycling with coral?' https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/cycling-with-coral.984963/
So tonight (10pm) i was feeding my corals with Red Sea Energy Plus AB+ Coral Nutrition. Turned off my pump and wavemaker. Target feeding all my corals. Leave it for 15 mins. Then about to turn back on my wavemaker to let it broadcast the remains in the tank for another 30 mins.
That was the moment i saw my cleaner shrimp crawling on my anemone! I picked my flashlight to see what he's up to. Then i saw some kind of torn/tear from the anemone mouth. But by the time i took my phone to take photo, she has closed up the mouth and the tear.
This what looks like the tearing, but now closed up after my cleaner shrimp crawled on that area.
This what she looks like under blue light.
This is pic of her earlier today (5pm) after i fed chunk of shrimp (with sunlight)
I have not tested my parameters today as its already late and im about to sleep.
Only tested my salinity at between 1.025-1.026
Tank is only 18 days old.
[Day I put them in the tank]
Corals :
Goniopora (from sea) [Day 1]
Monticap (from sea) [Day 10]
Anemone (from LFS) [Day 13]
Organ Pipe Coral (from LFS) [Day 14]
Fishes :
2 clownfish [Day 14]
1 scopas tang [Day 13]
1 japan surgeonfish [Day 14]
1 bluestreak goby [Day 14]
1 six line wrasse [Day 14]
1 cleaner shrimp [Day 14]
5 trochus snails [Day 13]
Since i put her in the tank, she been sitting there. Just creeping under the rock. Already attached to the glass.
Is this tear i should worry about? Is my cleaner shrimp gonna stress her?
Yes i know my tank is too young for anemone, or for any corals for that matter.
But any input is appreciated. Thank you.
