My BTA moved last night and found a spot next to an old Condy (I know its bleached, but after 3mo its finally getting some color. Was a live aquaria buy). They're both not happy about it. Should I move one if possible? The BTA would be the easier. Or is there no ill effects of the fighting it out. Also, this mini carpet. Is there differant flavors/fancy names

? Or is one the same as the next.

The condylactis has a stronger sting than the BTA & will retract. Hopefully the BTA figures it out & will move, unless that is a good spot that nems like & both nems will duke it out but the condylactis will win that fight. I would keep observing to see if the BTA eventually keeps moving but if not, I would remove the condylactis. I’d rather give more real estate to the BTA than the condylactis.

How long should I give it? Would/could that condy kill the BTA if its stubborn?

It depends on the anemones but I would give it until the end of the day, I wouldn’t trust leaving those two nems that close to each other overnight. Keep observing the BTA to see if it moves on its own. If the BTA begins to mushroom & the mouth is protruding, then you might want to remove the condylactis because it’s stressing the BTA. If any of those nems starts to deteriorate & release their toxin, that will cause havoc in your tank. Good luck.
