Has anyone ever kept macroalgae with anemones? Does one kill the other or do they do okay together? I have some red grape bubble algae that I want to put next to my BTA but not sure if it’s too risky or not.

I had a tiny bit of Dragons Breath nuzzled up against an RBTA, it didn't seem to bother either of them. In true anemone fashion it moved to an inconvenient side of the tank, and in true display macroalgae it got sucked into a powerhead and shredded itself to pieces...

Do what you will with my (generally useless) anecdotal experience.

Ha. Thanks, my nem really likes to spread out so I'll keep an eye out.

while i have no direct experience with this in a tank i can say for certain the local tidepools have nems and macros bunched together like there’s no tomorrow with seemingly no ill effect
