Hello

I have a few LPS in my tank and for some reason, my Duncan has decided that he hates life and he doesn't want to come out ever again. I am attaching two pictures (one of the angry duncan and one of a few LPS out and very happy). Tank has been up for over 2 months now and he was happy as a clam before :(

About 3 weeks ago he started closing up. I had changed my lighting schedule and I assumed that was the problem. So after a few days I switched it back, but he didnt open up again. I left him go for a week then moved him to a different location with less light and less flow: still didnt open up. So now I moved him to more light and more flow: still wont open. I am worried but I just dont get it as all my other coral seem to be doing fine? I do have some vermetide snails so I scraped off any of the snails and webs near him, but that hasnt helped either. I do have some algae issues, but could that cause him to shrivel up inside his body? I do see his whiskers inside, but they are tight and he isnt coming out even a little.

Parameters:
Alk: 9.8
Calc: 425
Mag: 1380
Nitrates: 4
PH: 7.6 (I know its low, but its been this average for months now and I cant get it raised for the life of me! All the other coral seem to be doing fine even with it this low)
Phosphates: .08

Hard to tell by the pic but it looks like it's on it's way out. For now, I'd move it lower light, and lower flow and hopefully it will recover.

Do you think I should leave him in the shade or should I bring him out to the corner so he gets a bit more light?

He may have been too close to that Hammer Coral and gotten stung by it's sweepers during the night. Hopefully it will recover now it's in a quiet spot.
