I have read several chalice receding threads but they don’t fit my scenario.

Few things I can think of, tank is almost a year old while rocks are close to 6 years old. Parameters are very stable for the last year.
8.5
425
1350-1420 mag has actually moved a bit
.11
20
Ph low. 7.8-8.0

Ok, a year ago I broke down and moved my current tank and setup a larger tank. While doing so I am having trouble with hammer corals and chalice corals. My hammers are slowly loosing flesh band, dropping heads and dying.
I’ve had a few chalice start to recede from outside and eventually die.

Recently found out my salinity was out of calibration, was 1.030 now 1.025 but over about 10 days. Again alk, po4 (and others) have been very stable

I would like to dip remaining corals as I tried to let them deal with it but they die… I have iodine and oil based dips. I’m afraid it may be a bacteria issue. I see no pests, flow is not harsh, hammers are in 100 par, same with chalice (old par meter)

Thoughts, I would like to not loose more corals, thanks all!

What parameters are what? 425 calcium is a lot different than 425 nitrate
Not 425 nitrate 😆
8.5 alk
425 Cal
1390 mag
.11 P04
20 N in

Again parameters have been very stable.

I am leaning toward iodine dipping in case it’s bacterial or hoping to stall the recession. At least I can say I did something, I’m bummed I’ve lost a few nice pieces

I’ll just document in case anything helps. Chalice may be to far gone being under penny size but I dipped the chalice, torch & micromussa in iodine hoping it will stop recession or stn. I have them (except the torch) under a rock in partial shade where they have been for 10 days.
Torch is glued to original spot, it was dipped due to others losing flesh and and eventually dying.

I know to do 1 thing but I added a bag of carbon to my sump, under what recommended amount is. Added carbon in case something is leaching (or coral warfare which I doubt but who knows) my water is clear in white buckets during W/C

Photos might help. Your NO3 and PO4 look fine but I always had better results with Chalice and Acans when I would target feed them several times each night. I typically have a low fish bioload so even with nitrates and phosphates the LPS would benefit from target feeding.
