I was on here yesterday about my femal clown fish that had ich had jumped out of my quarantine tank after 2 weeks of seeming to get better and doing awesome but she had been rapidly breathing the night before she jumped and all parameters are perfect which really shook me up I don’t get how she was great for 2 weeks then just gets stress out is rapidly breathing and jumps out the tank within 12 hours.
Now the next day this morning the goby was dead upside down in the middle of the tank when the goby literally ate and looked amazing the day prior and I checked all parameters this morning temp is 75 salinity is 1.025 copper is 2.33 and ammonia is reading zero on the salifert kit and the male clown is doing awesome super active and eating a bunch I just don’t get it am I doing something wrong?

Rapid breathing is almost never good. I am no good at qt, but I know a guy. @Jay Hemdal

Can you post a video of the goby, white light, if it is still alive, or a body image?
Yes could you also look at my recent post I’m concerned about my male clownfish

Dark spot is concerning and may be an internal issue such as edema

Does the tank have good aeration, not just circulation? A protein skimmer can supply that, but in a QT, and air stone is best.

I placed a medium sized conch shell in the tank for my sick clownfish so he could rest in there. However, he began to host the shell. Needless to say, I had to move the shell with him to my 36g. (which was not my original intention). I spot fed him frozen mysis because I find that pellets quickly foul the water. I hope your little guys recovers.

My male clown fish seems to be getting weaker now and laying in a corner and swimming slower all parameters are good what should I do

Sorry - there aren’t enough clues to go on here. I’ve ruled out a number of issues, but that doesn’t tell me what’s going on here…..

Like what kind of shell I’m looking at some pics online I don’t get how he’d rest in there but I’d like to do that for him cuz he’s alone now
