background; I had some bad test reagents and my phosphates went unchecked for quite a bit. I now have 3 different test kits telling me they are still pretty high (> 0.55).
Any amount of GFO made any impact on the number.
I started dosing Lanthanum Chloridr into my skimmer and got P to drop to 0.2. Stopped and within 25 hours it was > 0.5. Repeated again and got to 0.1. 24 hours later we back at 0.5.
My assumption is the P is just bound in the rock and sand and i will need to slowly try and hit equilibrium?
