Hey yall. I recently tried getting into corals and bought a rock with anthelia. I heard they were the easiest or one of for beginners. They are in my established 75g tank
When I first put them in they opened, but looked stiff and not as flowery as they were at the store.

3 weeks later they closed and now are like the picture below. All parameters are where they’re suppose to be so I adjusted the power heads and angled them upward to get more indirect flow.

Does anyone else have other suggestions for me? The thanks!

Having a difficult time seeing the coral in the photo provided.

Parameters? I know you say they are fine, but that can be subjective (also what are you testing with)

Lights on your tank and par if you know it

How is everything else doing in your tank?

Anything that could be bothering it?

found the problem thank you. My salinity meter was busted and stuck at 1.023. Got me skeptical so I got a new one and measurements was far below that at 1.016. Everyone else in the tank inverts + fish, seem great. Thank you for youre help and i Hope this works!

Make sure that you are slowly increasing the salinity, as changing it from 1.016 to 1.025-27 could cause everything a large amount of stress
