Mine uses Magic Gate... which isn't a problem because I got everything from Sony to avoid any compatability issues. But my MagicGate card works in most CPUs I find nowadays.

magicgate? interesting, never heard of it. is it the same size as that sony memory stick thing?

i just like how my camera, PDA, laptop, and printer all take SD cards. so easy to take it out of my camera and plug it into whatever i want.

We used to have a Kodak camera that used SD, worked fine. As a matter of fact, if you want our old ones to use, I'd trade em to you for palys. <grin> They are useless to me now that we switched anyway.

The magic gate thing looks like a slim little memory stick. The photo kiosk at Walmart takes magic gate, LOL... just looks like a SD slot that is half as wide and half as long.

i got a 2gig cf card for around 60; another benefit of my dslr is that it takes two different types of media, and i can switch back and forth.
