Our kitty named “Meow Meow”! We found her as a tiny kitten, abandoned on the side of the road. She was presumably the runt, and her mother left her. We’ve had her for 2 years now, and she’s such a blessing. She only ever meows in pairs, hence her name!

Edit: It appears mobile photo uploads aren't working :(

No matter what, if I sit down I always grow a fuzzy grey lump and if I don't have a spot for her to sit on or near my lap she gets very upset! Now that it's turning summer here we don't get snuggles at night any more but she sleeps in the end of the bed with just her head on my leg haha

Love me some kitties.
Merlin is the blue point and Milo is the tan tabby. They came from the same litter. The dog is Maple, the most jealous dog on earth. Cutie ended up spending the night in her new tank.

I'll get some foam and more straw to insulate this a little bit better. On the one hand yeah it's funny I've got a cat living in a fish tank. On the other, how bad is the place she came from that she decided this is better?

I think it awesome you repurposed a tank for that kitty! Looks like she is all warm! I’m guessing she is an outside kitty?

Oh man, I miss having cats so much. My husband is extremely allergic so the deal was that he'd live with my two boys until they passed if I promised to not bring more cats home. He lived with them for nearly 10 years and they passed about 3 years ago. Best boys ever.

The sphynx is Achilles, the dapper tux is Tazu-San (in the end of his lifespan, he was blind at this point - hence the GIANT glazed pupils), plus one of my fav photos of them together sharing my lap

Thanks! Yes, she is feral or semi feral or however you want to say it. She does not "belong" to me but I'll take care of her. There must be one of those signs on a tree outside like how homeless people know it's safe but for cats.

I have 2 more living in a shed + 1 more that comes and goes. Believe it or not this is way down from earlier in the year. I've trapped 3 adult females and 12? kittens this year. Sometimes it's hard to keep track. I also have 3 cats who live 100% inside who are all former ferals. One of them I had to spend 2 years coaxing to come in full time but after we got her spayed which unfortunately is very expensive here, we weren't going to let her out again unless she really was unhappy inside.

I made a outside bench/planter combination last summer and the wife thought it would be a good place to put some of her plants that wouldn't fit in the house.
I made a little shelter and put in some seed warmer pads to keep it warm when the temps dropped below the freezing mark.
Our cat is a outside cat, but recently decided this was her place to sit and watch the world.
