Now that we’ve been up and running for about 5 months we are starting to get some CUC shells left over in the tank. Any cool ideas to use them? Maybe as frag bases instead of out of place looking circles or square bases?

Maybe a pile in the corner and grow a coral on them?

Anything cool instead of tossing?

Leaving a few empty ones around is good of course for transfers

I actually went in and was "cleaning" my sand bed yesterday. I've got a fairly sizeable Hollywood Stunner Chalice in the corner (ok, maybe not sizeable but it's 15" by 8" so big enough!) and I made a big pile of empty shells underneath that. I'm guessing by now the hermits and conch have brought them all back out again though.
