Any decent scholarships you know of?

[nayrgaijin]

College is costing me an arm and a leg this year.
Anyone know of a scholarship most are eligible for this year still going on?

I have been searching for those ones like "Write a 5 page paper on.... and be entered to win a $500 scholarship" and can't seem to find any!
I was pretty talented with those in HS, however I am looking for anything right now.
My college is trying to ef me this year if I can't come up with everything by Monday! What the heck is that about!
I figure if someone wants to go to school, work with them! It makes sense to me!

Ummm, money for MACNA and a reef/corals, but unable to afford college? I'm not sure I understand the logic.

College only gets more and more expensive. Tuition this semester is going to run me like $5,200 + books and supplies. Thank got I still live at home! Good luck man!

Finding a scholarship seems like almost more trouble than it's worth. I looked into it a while back....I'm not a minority so I miss out on like 90% of the scholarships because I'm just an average white American... then, the scholarships that I can get, I must compete for against hundreds/thousands of others and the winner gets like a $500 scholarship--not worth my time when one class costs $1600 ($400 per credit)...oh and I take 4 classes....

Started the reef when I was making 30k a year. Seemed affordable! haha
There's issues with my financial aid 'all of a sudden' through my school. It was fine until the day before I posted this thread. Not sure what happened really, still trying to find out.

Dangit that is expensive! I'm just glad I have 1.5yrs of the GI bill to use ;)
However I am not wasting that at a community college! haha

Tuition is suppose to go up even more in the years to come, I know Colorado is trying to eliminate all funding for upper level education which will drive it up even higher.
