A couple days ago a R2R member purchased what I considered to be a Canary Bubble Tip from me and when he got it he sent photos and it looks like a Rose BTA. Has anyone every had such a shift in color from a BTA. It was no mistake with shipping on my end, I only have two in stock and they are completely different and were in separate tanks.

The first photo is of what the BTA looks like in my system and the second photo the buyer sent to me.
Anyone have such experience with this before?

It just makes not since to me whatsoever on how the color could go from a yellow to a rose..

Mannn! The owner of the Chinese restaurant dipped and swirled too long! Too much Soy Sauce! LOL

On a more serious note,
I have seen many RBTAs change into different things (Sometimes better looking, sometimes brown) but I have never seen one change within a matter of 24 hours. Usually it takes them a few weeks to fully change (For me at least). I would say let the nem get used to the water and fully inflate and, have the customer send you a picture of it less stressed out. When nems are closed up the color can look completely different than what they actually are inflated.

I think he may have dipped and swirled twice this week, too much? I told him not to use generic Soy Sauce, you get what you pay for...

When I got the BTA a coupe of weeks ago it was sort of faded which of course is very typical because the others were faded as well. But, after about a week it gained a nice yellow color as you can see in the photo but I never saw it with a rose color at all..
Ill see if he wants to give it a couple of days to see what it does.

Twice?!? OMG! That's like eating mcds for breakfast, lunch, dinner and a late night snack! Like that guy on the movie SuperSize Me. Kikkoman and Pearl River naturally brewed and aged FTW!

Definitely post some pics of it happy and inflated

Not the slightest clue ahahahah I like the detail in your pic and color in the second one ahah... That's crazy man...

What type of lighting did it come from and also what is it under now?

I had it under 20K Radiums. Not sure what the lighting is now but a flash photo was sent to me as well and it pretty much shows the same.

Ill see if I can get an updated photo. Maybe it will come around..

When the tips fully enflate it could regain the original color it had in your tank. Its like when you blow a balloon up to much and it gets those stretch marks that are different colored. I think it could be stressed from shipping. Just a guess but amazing either way.

Tell the buyer to send the shipping box to me, I wanna do all the dipping using that box to color up my chalices!
