Hey y’all I have a waterbox 20 cube with 1 fire shrimp, 1 cleaner shrimp, a couple snails and a royal gramma baslett. I was thinking of getting a sand sifting goby in the tank, would it be fine and not jump out since I have a mesh lid with 1/4 inch holes?

If you have a lid you may be fine.. depending on the sand sifting goby it may need more space unless supplemented well with other foods... in smaller aquariums I like to have cool small blennies like sailfin blennies or barnacle blennies... I like clown gobies and goby and pistol shrimp combos !

I have 2 clowns a diamond goby (young and small) and a cleaner shrimp in a 18.5 g with 10 corals. The goby eats mysis, pellets, and what ever is in the sanf. Looks super happy and keeps the sand clean. They do get bigger but I plan on getting a 65+ g tank before the goby grows too much. Goby's are awesome mine is fun to watch and feed.
