Any one have an epic lawn....?

I own a nice size lot that I will be building on in the future. Would like to see some other lawns to help make a decision on which way to go. I try my best with what I have to work with, small centipede/Bermuda/weed mixed lawn haha

That's what I use. I put down 2x 2lb application about a month apart. One in May and one about a week ago. I haven't seen any change in the green yet, but I've read it can take a few weeks. Any truth to that?

Your lawn doesn't look bad green wise, now it is a slow release, sometimes very slow. Looks darker than your neighbors. It takes some time a a lot of water when applied. Are you mowing about 3 to 3.5? Getting your soil tested helps too, sometimes it needs other things besides fert. Up here in the north lime can be the culprit that needed. But I would give it time.

Yea i mow at the highest setting should be around 3". I do need to get a watering schedule down.

I think the malorganite has 3% iron or so. Guess I just have to wait another few weeks

Yes milorganite has iron, that doesn't magically make a good lawn, neither does lime. All grass and soil types are different. Get a soil sample tested, may be lacking a simple micro nutrient. Mulching clippings and watering also helps. Up here in the north we have different soil then down south so the only way to get a accurate answer is a soil sample. Also if ur a lawn nut, checkout lawn care nut I think he's called on youtube. He used to be a sales rep or something for true green and has tons of vids on making beyond epic lawns. I'm a certified applicator so I kinda know grass, but every geographic areas ground is different.

yup. bermuda.

as others stated. use iron.
and use pre emergent.

I've just started researching pre emergents, I kind of missed the application time in spring lol. Do you still use them into summer? Or just spring and fall? @Russ265

i think fall is the biggest time to do it.
i keep my lawn around 6 inches during the fall and spread preemergent october/november.

if you dont... you will be fighting fires until summer.

spring pre emergent is just to give it a boost.

Yea this years winter weeds wrecked havoc on my lawn. I'm actually seeding the other side of my driveway tonight after the sun goes down. I killed everything(was mostly weeds with Bermuda) about a month ago with 2 applications of glyphosphate. So I have to finish raking up the dead stuff and lay the seed. Have malorganite and 10-10-10 starter fert ready to go down with it
