So I am in the process of getting my 120 up and running and I’m Going to need to catch and transfer a few fish from one tank to the 120. I just saw this but can’t find anyplace selling it in the US. What do
you guys think about this. Looks like it works well and very basic. It’s from NYOS

The biggest issues I would see with that sort of trap is you need to physically pull the magnet to engage it and it's not easy to add bait into the trap to draw fish in.

I have the tank matez trap and I can attest it works. Works even better if your fish are food driven. Just put the tap on the glass for a day or so before attempting to catch a fish so they aren’t as leary of it!

if your trying to catch more timid fish recommend a box trap with a sliding door. I just caught my angelfish that was picking some corals. Just let them get acclimated to it and be patient. Ive seen the magnet cup ones have mixed results.

Agree with box trap. Works like a charm.
Patience and persistence will win the game. I can attest to the effectiveness of the box trap... Not sure about the Nyos one, but the videos sure look cool.
