Just wanted to add some context since there isn’t much user feedback yet. This equipment management case is a relatively new and niche product for us, mainly designed for hobbyists who want a cleaner and safer way to organize power supplies, controllers, and excess cables inside or behind their stand.
It ships flat-packed and requires assembly, which is one reason we haven’t pushed it aggressively compared to our lights. Many customers also choose custom sizes, which makes mass reviews harder to come by.
The transparent door panel uses magnets, making it easier to open. (Upgrade based on user feedback)
That said, if anyone here is currently using one (or something similar), we’d genuinely love to see real-world photos and hear your experience — good or bad. Community feedback helps us improve these kinds of products.
It’s essentially a flame-retardant controller enclosure with a cooling fan and temperature display, mainly meant for basic power and cable management rather than a full controller cabinet.

Can they be laid down flat and the display rotated 90*? I can space it off the top of the cabinet for airflow.
I would install them on top of the cabinet I have sitting next to my tank

Great question — you’re actually touching on one of the strengths of this case.
Yes, the case itself can be laid flat. As long as there’s adequate clearance for airflow (spacing it off the cabinet like you mentioned works well), there’s no issue running it in that orientation.
Regarding the display/control panel: Because this location is a square, yes it can be rotated 90°.
If you have a specific layout in mind — top of cabinet, side mounting, cable exit direction, etc. — we can usually accommodate that during production. Otherwise, it’s built to the default spec.

On my Dt currently I have 3x noopsyche k7 v2 pros and 2x noopsyche k7 v3 with the plans to eventually upgrade to 6 k7 v3 pros on this tank.
Power supplies are all mounted in the canopy currently, along with the power supplies for 2 wave makers and and a Closed loop pump. So 8 PS sitting on the canopy.
I had planned to get a 24V @50A industrial power supply to mount in the canopy and wire everything in to that, would clean up the mess. But for about the same price this may actually work out too.
Mounted raised off the cabinet is easy. I think the standard box would be fine. I can modify once I get it if needed.

I’ve seen people run 24V 50A industrial supplies, mostly Mean Well stuff. Totally doable, just more work once you start splitting loads and protecting everything.
Your plan is solid either way, just depends on how deep you want to go on the electrical side.
Appreciate you running NooPsyche lights on the tank already, and thanks for taking the time to actually think through the options instead of just forcing one solution.
